    Rotelle with meat sauce

     

    Maybe it is easier to buy a pizza in a day when you have been working 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the problem is resolved for those days. It is comprehensible since cooking is an activity that takes time and energy from any one who cooks for the family like me,  and all need to rest, but today,  the desire to eat something good and knowing that I had everything at home, make me to work an extra free hour at home, but the investment worth, believe me.

     

    For 3

     

    Cook the Rotelle pasta.

     

    Boil water, add oil and salt and add the rotelle and wait approximately 12 minutes. Then, strain them.

     

    I used to add a little bit of butter and parmesan cheese to the pasta before serving. Then, each one can add extra parmesan cheese. ( I do this because I want the pasta to take flavour before serving, it is optional. Also I use to take a cup with the prepared sauce and add it to the pasta as well before serving, in that way I believe to make pasta evenly colored and with preliminary flavor of the sauce).

     

    The sauce.

     

    ½ onion. Cut it in little pieces.
    ½ green pepper. Cut it in little pieces.
    Garlic Powder
    Basil (Albahaca) Natural and Organic
    ½ tea spoon of salt
    Ground meat ( 1 Lb )
    4 cups of tomato sauce.

     

    Preparation

     

    Sauté the onions and green pepper. Add the ground meat and mix with the onion and pepper until the meat becomes brown. Add the 4 cups of tomato sauce and add the salt, the garlic and the basil. Let all the mix cook for 10 to 15 minutes and voila, here is your Rotelle pasta with meat sauce. Have a great dinner! Buen apetito. Enjoy. (Remember that you also can add a cup of water to the sauce if you see that is a little bit dry. Also remember to lower the heat and to be aware that if you cover the sauce with a lid, do not cover the pot completely because the sauce is going to get dry very soon. The goal is to make the meat to be completely cooked and with the flavor of the sauce...)
