This iReport is part of an assignment:
Obamacare: Your story
Put down your pencils! April 15th taxes are due! 1st day of the month rent is due! What does deadline mean to you?
noun: deadline; plural noun: deadlines
1. the latest time or date by which something should be completed.
"the deadline for submissions is March 31st"
time limit, limit, finishing date, target date, cutoff point
Seems to me a deadline is a deadline unless redefined by Obama. When you make business decisions you have to factor time (deadline), cost (budget) and resources. Well, so far we see the plan sold to the public was deceitful on many levels which should raise a big old flag that the ignorant voting public was scammed. The so called 'deadline' has moved now for several special interest groups in a country where all are supposed to be equal. Lack of interest, procrastination, computer ignorant, broke and just plain scared people are shying away from signing up. The rest are just going to wait and see what the fine is. So basically they are not going to meet their first year number on this sales pitch number they gave us. That factors into the cost/savings. If you say by this or that date that the number of healthy signups will carry the risk pool and they don't come close then your projections were terrible and we were once again sold a bill of bad goods. That coupled with the billion and growing cost of the website is outrageous to say the least. The last part of this disaster is the resources. It is now taking additional resources just to get the website to work and all the people they had to hire to handle the complaints and messed up system. When does this bleed stop????
