Skyline OneView video portal was highlighted on WJZ-TV and CBS Baltimore for its immense impact on the safety of elementary school students in Baltimore County
Currently 107 elementary schools use OneView allowing law enforcement to be proactive during any incident. The technology allows video to play on any device form a TV monitor to a smart phone resulting in effective real-time response. The cameras and their feed are secure and controlled in the county limiting and monitoring who can see inside a school and when.
CBS Baltimore quotes Police Chief Jim Johnson: “We believe strongly that this new technology, the step in this direction, will enhance public safety in our schools and in our communities, as well.”
Skyline continues to work with each client to develop the OneView based on their specific security and user needs. Agencies across the state of Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia have taken advantage of this video portal and the comprehensive Skyline Video Sharing Solution (VSS) to share live video streams safely, effectively and on a highly scalable platform without having to replace existing disparate infrastructure.
