This iReport is part of an assignment:
Communicating through autism
Listening to My Son's Laughter
Words aren't necessary when communicating joy! I love to ride roller coasters with my son! Sammy, my 8 year old, severely autistic, nonverbal child loves to laugh! In those moments when we share laughter together, the disability seems to disappear. Sammy loves life and will be able to enjoy his life in the future. I love spending time with him! Here is a picture of us from last summer riding The Comet at Hersheypark.
