After His Mother Dies, Homeless Immigrant Makes $9947 On The Internet
The recent recession may have killed people’s enthusiasm for running their own business. But for one Polish/Ghanaian immigrant the story took a different turn.
“My mum had died just a few months before, my long-term relationship ended, and my previous venture failed. I was forced to sleep at train stations during the bone-chilling winter.” - says Jean Paul.
Facing the fear of dying alone, due to the winter harshness, Jean Paul was forced to take action. He used an 8-year old laptop to create a very simple piece of marketing software. He would go to the local library to write computer code during the day, and then sleep at the train station at the night.
His tenacity paid off. When he placed the software on an online business forum, it sold like hot cakes. He moved over $9947 worth of copies in just a few days.
Vowing never to go back to that situation, he used the money to start his own marketing company - TheRainWolfProject.com.
“On the street, your teeth have to be deadly sharp. You have to be tenacious - just like a wolf. And then, I somehow had to make it ‘rain money’. So that’s how ‘The Rain Wolf’ came about. It’s a ‘do or die’ kind of thing.”
The self-proclaimed “Rain Wolf of Marketing” has already helped several clients. One business owner says Jean Paul helped him attract over 200 new registrations for his business event - in less than a month!
Today, Jean Paul says he is grateful for what happened...
“You may think my situation was unfortunate. But I thank God I made it through. So many people end up dying on the streets. Hopefully, when I help my clients, they can create more jobs so that there are less people who don’t have a place to sleep.”
