Look into Sammy's Eyes and See What He Has to Say
Just because my severely autistic child doesn't speak, doesn't mean he doesn't have anything to say. You must slow down, spend time with him, and simply connect with him. As a parent, I MUST spend a lot of time with him each day to understand what he is saying and what he needs. I know my kid very, very well, and not all parents can say that. I must slow down and know how to connect with my son.
