    Trailer Park Recycling

Recently we found out about a recycling center near my work that recycles everything.  It's the best recycling center we've ever seen.  You name it, they take it....even automobiles!

In the town where we live, they do recycling pick up but not at our location in the trailer park, because this is separate from the city's pick up region.  The trailer park only takes trash and has no room to set up a recycling center.  My wife and I decided to take on the task ourselves.  We went out and purchased some large garbage cans and large clear plastic bags.  Then we labeled each trash can for plastic, paper, cardboard, glass, aluminum cans, phone books and a section for tires and other items.  We told our neighbors about what we're doing and the news spread around.  We are now the recyling center for our trailer park.  We are so pleased from the results of our neighbors wanting to help out and making a difference to our environment.  Whenever a container is full, we take it to the main recycling center by my work.  With all the aluminum cans, we can obtain cash for them and expand our recycling center by getting more garbage cans and bags so we don't have to use our own money.  It's a great feeling to know that others like us care about the same things.  And we even made new friends in our trailer park by doing this.
