    La Habra 5.1 Magnitude Earthquake - Reminder of the need to be prepared and underscores the urgency of an actionable Earthquake Alert and Notification System in California

    SCOTTS VALLEY – Today, George E. Dickson, III, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Seismic Warning Systems issued the following statement in the wake of the 5.1 magnitude earthquake in La Habra.

    “Our hearts go out to the displaced families that had to seek shelter due to damaged homes and disrupted utilities. Our gratitude is with the first responders and community organizations helping to meet the needs of the families affected by this disaster.

    The 5.1 La Habra Earthquake is a reminder to be prepared. It is also a reminder that there is no time to waste in deploying an actionable earthquake warning and notification system in California.
