    Taiwan: Protests and Pandas (3/30/2014)

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     alxandr is an American studying Chinese in Taiwan. He decided to document protests in the city on March 30. "I don't feel like I can really comment on the bill, as there is a lot of misinformation that seems to be floating around, and without knowing all the details from both sides," he said.
    - rachel8, CNN iReport producer

On Sunday, March 30, 2014, over 110,000 students and protesters came together in Taipei to stand up again President Ma and the Cross-Strait Service Trade Agreement that was passed through on March 18th.

The bill is an open trade agreement with China, and was quietly passed, leading many to occupy the Legislative branch in retaliation.

Sunday's protest was so far the largest in response to this growing issue in Taiwan.
