The chateau park and statue in Lysá nad Labem
The park is open to the public during the whole season which begins in April. Park is devided into so-called French garde and English park. French garden is rich in sculptural decoration Part of the area is a former monastery of the Discalced Augustinians and nowadays we can also find an open-air cinema at the bottom part of the park.The castle, park as well as the monastery are nowadays protected as national monuments Czech Republic. Through part there leads main path, which is also lined with twelve statues and each of them imagined one month of the year.
Therefore in the upper part of the path the statue representing month January looks to the face of the statue representing December and at the end of the row statue representing month June looks to the face of statue representing July.
