    Sales Will Make or Break A Business

    People love complicating things but simplicity always wins. Sales is a must but understanding the psychology behind people helps make the transaction smoother. Don Andersen has been in sales for decades and is passionate about helping sales people tap into their full potential. Today’s market place is crowded with individuals who consider themselves to be salesman but have no idea how to close the sale.

    Sales is an absolute must in organizations and not properly training and equipping your sales people can be disastrous. Sales is a transaction between an individual offering a product or service and a buyer interested in that product or service because of the value and emotional attachment that individual has to that particular product or service. Many times we associate sales with a desire but that desire is often times mistaken with our emotional buying power. When homeowner’s purchase ADT the security system they aren’t purchasing the security system rather a sense of security.

    Sales is a commitment to fulfilling a consumers desire to get a specific result. When women buy jeans they focus on the fit, color, style, and cut which reminds designers to focus more on the looks than the price. Consumers aren’t as concerned about the price as they are about how it’s going to help them get the results they want.

    All of us are born into sales. It’s natural for us to ask for what we want and find a way to get that. That is a form of sales exchanging one thing for another assuming it will be more valuable to us. Sales is and always will be the strongest power we possess. It can make a business just as easily as it can break a business. Properly training, equipping, and empowering your sales team to understand consumers behavior, and humanizing the buying experience will ultimately help you close more deals.
