Every day thousands upon thousands of lives are thrown into turmoil because of computer problems that could have been easily avoided. If all those computers had been backed up, the data, music, pictures, programs, passwords, emails, etc, could have been easily restored very simply and easily. In the last few years a new technology has appeared that allows us to back up our devices and recover everything with ease. It is called Online Backup or Online Storage or even Cloud Storage.
With Online Storage you can recover files and data from anywhere in the world where you have internet access. It is encrypted and safe because only you have the password that can un-encrypt the files. Few people have the time or mentality to do regular backups on traditional storage devices like hard drives , flash drives, tape drives, etc. Even when everything is done right a fire or theft can negate all those good intentions.
With Online Backups all those worries go away. There is usually a small program on your device that encrypts your files and then sends them to an online backup service automatically at whatever interval you set. Your files are backed up to multiple servers across multiple data centers in various locations across the country and world, so no matter what happens in one part of the world, your data is safe.
You can backup an unlimited amount of data and files no matter how large or small your requirements all automatically, and there are no restrictions on what kind of files you back up. Online Backup can be used with any Windows, Mac, or Linux computers plus with mobile devices like iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, or HTC.
Of course, restoring your files is also easy. Just go to the Control panel online if your device is not accessible, or to your desktop application and a few clicks later you have everything back. Wow! What a relief to know everything is safe! Proper backups could save your business, a lifetime of memorabilia, your irreplaceable photos, your music, everything that is precious to you.
