    Education awareness session was conducted by CMP HANDS District Kashmore in Sindh.

    HYDERABAD: An education awareness session was conducted by CMP team Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS) District Kashmore launching US Aid’s Sindh Community Mobilization Program (SCMP) at Village Gahno Khoso Taluka Tangwani. A large number of men and women of village participated. While addressing with the crowd CMP District Kashmore Field Officer Mr. Sadaruddin Marheto said that commencement of Sindh Community Mobilization Program (SCMP) is a step towards the enhancement of education of Sindh. He said that in this regard the cooperation and participation of villagers is necessary because without the participation of villager no output and result is possible to get. He said that USAID, HANDS and Government of Sindh are indomitable to improve the education of Sindh and wants no child out the school. He said that every child has right to get the quality education and with this step of USAID and HANDS no child will be deprived of this right. Further He said that the series of enrollment campaign will be launched from platform of CMP program in District Kashmore. He said that new model schools will be constructed at targeted villages, while other schools will be renovated and facilitated with educational facilities. Nutrition Associate Miss Anam Malik said that the factor of Female education is neglected in villages of Sindh. people prefer male education in spite of female education. She said that this perception should have to change on urgent basis, because a woman's education is the education of household. She said that women should have to think over it and should take responsibility to educate their girls. Project Associate Rustam Ali said that the policy of Sindh Community Mobilization Program (CMP) by USAID is to facilitate the schools of villages of Sindh like the model schools of big cities as people don't rush to cities school to educate their children. On this occasion villagers trampled to take steps and conduct meetings with parents for new enrollment particularly female education. ADO (Female) Taluka Tangwani Madam Khursheed Begum Awan and ADO (Female) Taluka Kashmore Madam Rasheeda Khoso were also present.
