Ascent to the Rooftop of Milan's Duomo

If you think that a view of the Duomo of Milano from the piazza is breathtaking enough, then maybe you should consider going up its roof. The view is spectacular, although it does not have the incomparable panorama of Paris' landscape. But what is more amazing than the view of the city is the cathedral itself, its roof that one travel guide book describes as "extraordinary". The entire roof is made of marble! From on top, we would actually see that the numerous spires taper into beautiful statues. That said and attested by a selection of the pictures that I have taken, the Cathedral of Milan deserves to be part of my list of the most beautiful structures made by human hands.
