I consider Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele, one of the world's oldest shopping malls, as the bridge between Piazza Duomo and Piazza della Scala. But it is more than a passageway. It is the home of signature shops and expensive restaurants. The glass dome that hovers above and the mosaic floor are great pieces of art and architecture. People also flock to the mosaic of Turin's Coat of Arms for it is said that spinning three times on one's right heel on the bull's genitals (the image on the mosaic) will bring good luck (see photo no. 2).
