    What is Reputation Marketing?

Reputation Marketing has become the newest way for small businesses to attract potential customers. You promote your business by marketing previous customers’ online reviews on sites such as Yahoo local and Google+. Every business will get a bad review every now and then, but with reputation marketing you get customers to look at the good reviews compared to the bad. This means the good reviews in the long run with outweigh the bad ones. Reviews are becoming a huge way to get customers since many customers will research a business online before making a purchase/going there. This can spell trouble for businesses that have yet to utilize the power of reputation marketing.

The first step to find out if you need reputation marketing is by find out your online reputation. One recent article talks about a company, Local Business Rockstar, is offering a free online tool (called Rockstar Reputation Report) to help you find out your online score. This score will show you how your business is ranking online. This can help business owners have a better idea on what their customers are saying about them and if they’re doing well in promoting their business online. To learn more about this tool read the full article here.
