Snowing Like Crazy in Upper Michigan!!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DaElmersBack told me, 'When spring arrives most people hope for warmer weather and snow melting away. This year especially since it went down as one of the coldest winters ever recorded. Getting snow in April really isn't too unusual, but getting 5 inches in under 3 hours in April is.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

All night long it threatened to snow, we maybe got an inch overnight. Then it rained early this morning before THIS started. Between 7:30-10:30am it snowed at least 5 inches in most areas around here. Thankfully most kids are out of school for SPRING BREAK..

Most of what you see are Kingsford and Iron Mountain, Michigan.. All along the Wisconsin border. Just a few miles west of here, they have 12+ inches on the ground. I believe we'll get another 4-6 inches this evening on top of this.
