    El Cafetal bajo asedio desde la madrugada

     

    Desde las 4 AM del domingo 6 de abril se reportaron gritos, cacerolas y detonaciones en la zona de El Cafetal, desde Caurimare hasta Santa Paula, por la presencia de las fuerzas de seguridad del estado derribando las barricadas montadas por los vecinos de la zona. Los enfrentamientos no se hicieron esperar y duraron hasta aproximadamente las 12 del medio día.

     

    El foro Penal Venezolano reportó al menos 15 detenidos y los vecinos acusan a la Policía Nacional de disparar en contra de los edificios bombas lacrimógenas y perdigones. También reclamaron allanamientos ilegales que no pudieron confirmarse.

     

    La Zona del Cafetal se encuentra actualmente trancada por las barricadas que los vecinos han continuado montando.

     

     

    From 4 am on Sunday, April 6th screams, pans and detonations were reported in the zone of El Cafetal, from Caurimare to Santa Paula, the presence of state security forces tearing down the barricades mounted by the locals. Clashes were immediate and lasted until about 12 noon.

     

    The Venezuelan Penal Forum reported at least 15 detainees and residents accuse the National Police shoot buildings against tear gas and buckshot. They also claimed suffer from illegal raids that could not be confirmed.

     

    Cafetal Zone is currently locked by barricades that neighbors have continued setting up.
