Common Body Pains You Will Experience As You Age
Everyone ages. And as you get older, you will tend to feel more recurring body pains and aches. This is just simply a fact no one can avoid, unless you have luckily stumbled upon the fabled fountain of youth.
Most (or probably all) men and even women in the their 30s will regularly experience and feel pains brought about by headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. If you are an office employee or your work consistently places you in front of the computer and typing away, you will definitely feel bursts of pain on your wrists and hands. Also, by sitting in and staring at your computer screen for long periods of time, you will also experience headaches and neck pains. Your head and neck pains can also be further compounded by stress either from home or from work as well.
Headaches, neck pains and carpal tunnel syndrome can be alleviated easily or even avoided by doing simple simple and short exercises while you are at work or even when you are at home such as stretching and breathing exercises or activities. Also, massage is always a good way for you to reduce any physical tension and can help remove any stress you are burdened with. So try to get a massage at least once a week.
When you are in your 40s, you will also start feeling more and suffering from back pains. This back pain is usually a result of stress on the spine from bad posture, a poor workplace set-up, and even wrong sleeping habits. At this age, you will also suffer from further muscle strain and/or inflammation. Both these particular muscle and joint pains are usually caused by repetitive physical strains that your body may be unable to take such as lifting really heavy packages or even weights while you are working out or exercising.
Such back pains and muscle strains are usually easily remedied when you take in pain relievers and anti-inflammatory pills. The problem though is such synthetic medicines have negative side effects. And continuous and prolonged intake of them will eventually diminish their pain alleviating or soothing effects to your body because you will become immune to the medication’s effects.
As such, more and more people are choosing to go with natural, alternative and holistic treatments such as osteopathy, acupuncture and homeopathy. Osteopathy is actually a more suitable option when it comes to natural pain relief since licensed and well-trained osteopaths fully know the body’s network of pain and they can effectively manipulate the body or its parts to get rid of all the aches and other types of discomfort.
