    Students Leave the Legislature

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JO1YNN is a graduate student at National Taiwan University Journalism School. She was at the legislature as a reporter, not to participate in the demonstrations, and has been documenting the protests since they began on March 18. "I felt touched when I see all the supporters outside the legislative building, and when they saw the students...they were all shouting out loud that 'protect democracy, withdraw the trade pact, and make the sunflower movement blooms everywhere,'" she said.

The student-led protesters will leave the legislature at 6 p.m. on April 10, after they leave the legislative building, they will conduct one last rally for this Sunflower Movement which has been operating for over three weeks since March 18.

The reason they chose to leave today is that Legislative Speaker Wang Jin-pyng had visited the students inside the legislature Sunday (April 6). He promised the students to pass an oversight bill before the review of the trade pact is conducted. This is what the students have been asking for.
