It's 01:40 AM here in central Chile. The city of Valparaíso (friendly called "Pancho" in recognition of its similarity with US San Francisco) is in flames. TV is showing a hell of fires up in the hills of this harbor, all of them born in an uncontrled bushfire that now hast cought civilian neighborhoods in the many hills that surround the harbor of Valparaíso. Officials estimate in about 600+ houses burnt, first deads are counting and thousand of people evacuated from their homes down to the plain central Valparaíso, near the coastline. Armed forces in the streets to control emergency.
I emphasize: I have never ever seen such a destruction in the second city of our country. It is worse than our last great earthquake!
