Flooding in SE Ontario, Canada
Belleville, Ontario is on emergency flood watch for the next three days due to heavy rains expected. Many tributaries are swelling above their banks where they meet The Moira River just north of the city. The river flows into the Bay of Quinte which appears to be at full capacity at present. Emergency crews are at the ready and sandbagging has been in place since Thursday as well as electrical services to many homes in the Foxboro, Ontario area a few kilometres north of the city has been cut off for safety concerns. These people have been told to evacuate due to this flooding issue.
