    Palm Sunday Celebrated by Christians

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     imcrystal says these handmade palm leaf creations go for 15 Philippine pesos each - about 35 cents.
    - rachel8, CNN iReport producer

Palm Sunday is the start of the Holy Week and marks the entrance of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem. This is where his followers held palms to wave in the entrance of Christ to Jerusalem.

In the Philippines, people create and prepare various designs of palms to sell. As the photos show, the children display the created palms of their elders for sale. It shows how the plams are created with coconut leaves.

This also starts the holy week and will end on Easter Sunday, the celebration for the risen Jesus Christ.
