Lunar Eclipse as Viewed from Los Angeles, California.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     J. David Osorio was part of a small group of past and present physics students from California State University Northridge that got together to view Tuesday's lunar eclipse and blood moon. "The meeting was spontaneous," he said. He and his friend joined the university's Association of Physics students with their telescopes on top of a parking structure at California State. No stranger to astronomical photography, Osorio photographed the different phases of the lunar eclipse. He started photographing at 10:45 p.m. Monday night and stopped 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
    - Verybecoming, CNN iReport producer

A small group of former and current physics students from Cal State Northridge got together to view this amazing natural phenomena. The pictures don't seem to have uploaded in chronological order. They were taken with an Olympus OM-D5 camera and an Orion 100 mm Telescope.
