    Bloody Bad Weather Red Moon

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     RSO34 says he drove around for about 90 minutes before he found a clear patch of sky to take this shot of the blood moon. He used his mobile wifi to live stream Doppler radar images to his laptop. He says he only had a 6-7 minute window to take the bracketed images, which he used to create this composite image. "One of my tougher moon shots to say the least," he said.

Dense fog and low cloud cover caused a 70 mile road trip with a laptop in the car getting Doppler updates to find a quick opening to take a bracketed shot in the wee hours of the morning in NY. Copyrighted by Robert Ondrovic Photography
