This iReport is part of an assignment:
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370
MH370 surface debris ?
Just another WIVIW, (well-intentioned Voice-in-the-Wilderness).
The annotated Tomnod web site satellite map images with this report show what appears to be a sizable 6-to-10 meter object, It is too large to be trash and is clearly not a boat or marine life.
There is a concentric ripple wave around it, nearly 20 meters diameter. This is not a calm surface, so the object is certain to be of significant, though buoyant mass, to generate a clearly visible ripple wave in rather heavy seas.
After looking at some 85,000+ image "tiles" on Tomnod's web site, this is not a breaking or curling wave. Concentric ripple waves with a object at their center are extremely rare sightings in these waters, in this interpreter's opinion.
I will mark this up within Tomnod's web site as debris, so it can begin its path to their attentionl. But since the Australians are saying they may end the air search very soon, then if anyone has connections with Australian search officials, by all means feel free to share it with them.
