I've been to Wrigley so many times I've lost count. Many of those times were that standard father/son adventures. A couple times were more unique, like meeting Fergie Jenkins during a fan clinic event. But one day will forever stay with me...Sunday, August 11, 2013. The Cubs were in St. Louis that day, so there was no game taking place on the North Side. There was something more special. That's the day I exchanged vows with the most gorgeous woman I ever met in the centerfield suite. That's the day I became a dad (well, stepdad technically) and had the honor of having my brother stand in as my best man while my parent were in attendance. Three generations of lifelong Cubs fans welcoming the love of my life and two spirited boys into our family in the place where I spend many, many summer afternoons bonding with my parents, brother and friends. There were no game winning heroics on the field that day, but there was something a million times more special taking place. There's nothing more memorable than a first dance with my new wife with a view from inside Wrigley Field as the backdrop.
