Artificial intelligence that works its magic via a multilingual cloud technology with CEO Alexander Korneyev at the reins

For more than 14 years Alexander Korneyev has managed media companies of different levels to eventually become the co-founder and CEO of the Avimoto project, a Russian technology startup.

His company has developed and launched a multilingual cloud service for automatic video editing based on certain elements of Artificial Intelligence.

During this brief interview via the internet we learned a little more about Mr. Korneyev.

”One of the things I learnt working in the media, is how complicated and expensive video production is, be it making video clips, Commercials or even just short videos about weddings, jubilees or journeys.

Therefore this problem is an age-old one, but the turning point came when, after a journey across Europe with my friend and Avimoto co-founder Dmitriy Ardyshev, we ended up with hundreds of photos and videos which were supposedly doomed to be stored on the PC ‘as is’ and finally forgotten as it often happens.

This is how an idea occurred of automating the video production process, namely, developing a web-site where one could upload all their photos and videos to without ever giving much thought to the complications of the video editing process and in a couple of clicks get a skillfully – and automatically – made easily sharable video.

Web-service of automatic video editing based on the ‘Avimoto’ artificial intellect which picks only the most interesting and beautiful frames of the best quality from the material you upload and turns these delicious ingredients into a unique movie for personal use or for development of small and medium-sized businesses.

You see we were sick and tired of storing gigabytes of awesome videos and perfect photos which taken separately do not tell any story whatsoever so we came up with this service which automati-cally combines raw material into meaningful movies – no work on the part of the user is required!

This technology known as ‘Avimoto’ recognizes and indexes people, scenes and behavioral pat-terns, backgrounds and inscriptions, as well as detects the difference between people, animals and scenery and has the function of automatic video stabilization and removal of digital noise.

The dynamic ‘Avimoto’ team consists of above par certified experts in their domains having over five years of experience. We are a very diverse group that speaks Russian, English and French.

Our desired headquarters in Fort Boyard on the Atlantic coast of France was not for rent thus our office is located in Chelyabinsk – the city which bravely bore the brunt of the meteorite on February 15, 2013.

The beauty of project Avimoto.com suggests you forget about software which needs to be bought, installed, customized and updated as well as properly handled. Operating the tools of Avimoto any Internet user is perfectly capable of making short clips and music videos.

Moreover, what small and medium businesses are in for is an opportunity for making Commercials, business demonstrations and interviews automatically without calling on anyone for help.

Unlike other applications and programs, Avimoto enables people to make not only short entertaining videos but also informative videos lasting up to 90 minutes.

Avimoto intelligence’, a unique technology developed on the basis of heuristic methods, skillfully incorporates image recognition algorithms and an intelligent system of video and photo processing.” said, Alexander Korneyev, co-founder and CEO of the Avimoto project.
