    Demanding transparency, the process of signature confirmation in Ecuador.

     
    In Ecuador, the group Yasunidos complete the process of recolection of signatures to move towards the national referendum for saving the Yasuní National Park. This movement collected more than 755.000 signatures from the ecuatorians of all over the country. Despite all the efforts made, yesterday in the National Electoral College the group of Yasunidos found out that this process was violated as the seal of the box containing the IDs had been brooken.
    Today Yasunidos request the suspension of the process of verification until this issue was clarify but this request was ignored and a military group show up trying to take the boxes containing the signatures. We expect that the international community to be aware of this events and we hope that this issue can be clarify taking into account the most important, the will of the ecuadorian people.
