I first read Gabo when I was 12, I discovered we would have to read One hundred years of solitude in 8th grade and decided I wanted to read it before everyone else in my class,I fell desperately inlove, not only with his writing, but with books in general with Literature, it became essential to my living, almost as important as breathing, I remember my mother begging me to stop for a minute to eat dinner, or shower! I am so greatful! because of him, I love reading, he made it a pleasure, he could paint with words, so yeah, he diserved to die in April, like Shakespeare and Cervates and on a Holy Thursday like did one of his main characters ever Úrsula Iguaran!
