    The Lunar Eclipse Triangle

In the 2am sky of April 15th the Moon, Mars and star, Spica, formed to form a special triangle in the night sky. With the Moon passing through the Earth's shadow, Mars nearly at opposition to Earth and the Sun and Spica coming very close to the Moon, it was an eclipse that will not be soon forgotten.
