    The Tarsier

We were out in the Tangkoko Nature Reserve in Sulawesi, eastern Indonesia in search of the world's smallest mammal, the Tarsier. As dusk began to dawn on us, we were searching all the trees with hollows in them. Our guide finally spotted a couple shyly hiding in one of them. We got them, very close. They are nocturnal animals, very shy. They were getting ready to find their dinner. A few shots and we let them on their own. It was a hard work trekking in the forest for nearly two hours looking for them. They look so cute and so admirable.
