What with the eggs during Easter Sunday?

There’s no bunny, but there are many colorful cracking, hard-boiled eggs, which kids were sent out to find in a Easter Sunday celebration in Bohol, Philippines.

After finding the eggs, the kids also have fun with different Easter games like egg hunt, egg catching and egg relay.

It’s not a traditional Easter celebration in the Philippines but many people are embracing this “tradition” borrowed from the Western.

The eggs and resurrection have a connection. The cracking of the eggs is the cracking open of the tomb. Easter eggs represent in some ways the tomb of Christ.

    Happy Easter Day 2014!
