    A Photographic Journey in Turkey

Recently the photo sharing site Fotoiz ( organized a photo safari in the mountains near the city of Antalya, Turkey.

Hundreds of photographers from all around Turkey participated in the event sponsored by the municipality of Kemer, very popular tourist destination along the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

Photographers of all ages endured difficult hikes up the mountains sometimes topping 1700 meters (Approx. 5600 ft). At the end of the event the mayor of Kemer distributed several awards in the category of "Flora and Fauna" and "Geography and Landscape" of Beydaglari,
a mountain range rising majestically along the coast.

There will also be an exhibition from select photos to promote tourism in the Antalya region. Some of those photos are shared here.
