    Kruger National Park, South Africa

Kruger National Park is one of the oldest, largest and most diverse parks in all of Africa. It is the epitome of the safari experience in Africa and it is home to over 500 bird species, 100 reptiles, nearly 150 mammals, multiple archaeological sites, and a stunningly diversity of trees and flowers. Kruger is Africa's flagship national park.

As far as the animals are concerned, it is home to all the usual big game. In fact, it is one of the few places in the world where you can see the Big Five (lion, leopard, black rhino, elephant and Cape buffalo).

Here are just a few pictures I took at Kruger National Park in July/August of 2011.
