    Millions of people all around the world are overweight or obese. Be reminded that your weight is the result of a lot of factors which include family history and genetics, metabolism, habits or behavior and the environment. Although some of these factors can be changed, there are others that can be modified like your lifestyle.


    Health Risks Of Overweight And Obese


    High Blood Pressure – The blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries when the heart pumps blood. When this pressure rises and will stay high for a long period of time, it can certainly damage the bony in a lot of ways.


    Coronary heart disease – This is a condition wherein plaque, a waxy substance will build up inside the coronary arteries which supply oxygen-rich blood to your heart. These substances can block or narrow the coronary arteries and reduce blood floor to the heart muscles which then can cause chest pain or even a heart attack.


    Diabetes – This is a disease in which the glucose level of the body is too high.


    Abnormal Blood Fats – If you are overweight or obese, you are at risk o having abnormal levels of blood fats – fats that are considered bad to your body. This in turn will make you more vulnerable to suffer from CHD.


    Osteoarthritis – This is the common joint problem of the hips, lower back and knees. It occurs when the tissue that protects the joints wear away. Know that extra weight can put more pressure on joints which will cause pain.


    Cancer – If you are obese or overweight, it increases your risk for developing breast, endometrial, colon, and gallbladder cancers.


    These are just some of the health problems you can have if you won’t do anything with your extra weight. So if you are overweight or obese, discover ways on how you can lose those excess weights.


    Losing those excess weights takes more than desire. It will certainly take commitment as well as a well-thought-out plan. How to get started?
