First Person: Your essays
Your Belief Determines Your Action...
Your belief determines your action and your action determines your results, but first you have to believe. Mark Victor Hansen
To realize within oneself a divine Presence, a perfect Person, is to recognize the Christ. ….The Science of Mind, page 369
It’s Easter—an invitation to accept the embodiment of the Christ in you. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask, “What is trying to be reborn in me today?” You were created from pure potential; it’s the core of who you are. Living your best life is your divine calling. You have the talents to reach your dreams, bringing your unique gift to the world. Up until this moment, you may have overlooked your calling, and now Spirit is nudging you toward your next step. Today, won’t you spend some time leaning into that voice of truth.
Begin by contemplating, “I am open to my calling,” and then pay attention. Sense the presence of your own inner wisdom. The first step will be revealed, often as your next positive thought. Take it, even if it doesn’t make sense to you. Then, stay the course! Keep asking, listening, and then taking action. Your faith muscle will grow strong as you have the courage to take one step at a time. That still, small voice within you is always available. You will begin to know it as your divine cheerleader, urging you forward, guiding each step. You can trust it. It’s on your side. You can relax and follow its lead. This Easter, how are you being called to show up in the world? How will you be reborn starting today?
Today, I pay attention to my internal cheerleader and have the courage to take action on the guidance I receive.
