Corliss Expert Group in Home Security - Review
The Vivint home security system combines home automation and security features. With options for high-tech sensors and energy-saving devices, the service can transform your home into a remote-controlled secure fortress. The cellular-based home security system does not need a landline or broadband connection like traditional home alarm systems. This may seem like a disadvantage at first, but wireless systems are harder to disable because they don't depend on landlines or cables that can be cut, and they tend to be more reliable because they function with or without power and are easier to install.
If you want to combine your home security with extra energy saving features, Vivint is a good candidate. However, you'll need a good credit score to qualify for this system, and it costs more than most. The LCD touchscreen control panel uses cellular-based technology to connect you to the sensors in your home and Vivint's monitoring station at all times.
