Kern County, California Leaking Fracked Oil & Gas Fields

Measurement of Leaking Oil & Gas Fields seeing the most permitting for HVHF High Volume Hydraulic Fracturing well stimulation completions using a Picarro G-2311-f Mobile CRDS (Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy) Methane Analyzer.
Normal atmospheric level of Methane is 1.8 PPM
These measurements exceeded this, areas were as high as 10PPM this would be variable but 24/7 365 emissions of CH4 which is considered potential more dangerous than carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas. Methane's lifetime in the atmosphere is much shorter than carbon dioxide (CO2), but CH4 is more efficient at trapping radiation than CO2. Pound for pound, the comparative impact of CH4 on climate change is over 20 times greater than CO2 over a 100-year period. Multiply this by the number of new deep unconventional wells being drilled and hydraulically fractured world wide and the picture for the planet is grim.
