    Pray for Mayflower

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Logan Pierce says a severe thunderstorm awoke him from a deep sleep last night in Mayflower, Arkansas, as the storm “shook our whole house.” "There were downed power lines all over Mayflower with houses and businesses gone,” he said. “Luckily the tornado didn't hit my house, but my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was hit last night.”

“The scene is pretty bad with traffic locked up past my house and no power at all in my house. The power has been out for 17 hours now and no word of it coming back on," said the 17-year-old student. "My first reaction was, ‘Oh my gosh, this just happened.’ I am still in shock because it’s the first tornado I have been through and it was still really close.”
