Transforming Ideas into Reality with Julian Smith at CAD Drafting Inc

Julian Smith is the founder of CAD Drafting Inc., where he and his team bring blueprints to life and gain approval for a plethora of permits. He started working for himself in 1993. CAD is an acronym for computer-aided design and combines hardware and software in a way where engineers are able to design anything and everything from an outdoor deck to new construction property. CAD Drafting Inc also provides the client with the convenience of quick turnaround on their project.

At CAD Drafting Inc., addition from design, permits are also a specialty. Julian Smith knows what the city looks for and is aware of the necessary format to get permits approved. Whether it is zoning permit, building permit, plumbing permit, electrical permit or fire alarm permit, Julian Smith and his team will get it approved. This is not something many CAD Drafting companies can say with confidence.

Julian Smith and his cooperates at CAD Drafting Inc. strive for complete satisfaction in their clients. Unlike other architects, engineers and CAD companies, who work on a standard, CAD Drafting Inc. works with the client to accommodate their financial state.

"If I could afford to do it for free, I would," said Smith. "I have a mechanical mind and this is something that comes so naturally to me."

At the age of ten, with a boxes of Leggos and a deck of Matchbox cards, Julian Smith built entire cities, complete with friendly citizens waving through windows. An appreciation and passion for architecture and design is something Julian Smith was born with and will always be a part of him. Smith designs for more than just his clients, but for himself too. He rehabilitated a property from a shell into a duplex where he lived for many years. He reviews and trusts his work and is proud of his abilities.

"The best thing in my life is my job," Smith said. "Turning clients' ideas into projects and seeing my work come to life is an incredible feeling."

When he isn't designing, Julian Smith enjoys riding his motorcycling and traveling the world. He has covered the entire East Coast, every state from Canada to Florida. He's also experienced California, Las Vegas, Mexico, Arizona and every island in the Eastern and Western Caribbeans. When he isn't traveling, Julian Smith is giving back to the community. He specifically works to inspire the youth of his community. He wishes to inspire the young adults of his community to go to school and stay in it as he hopes to one day complete his Master's degree in Engineering.

Friends of Julian Smith describe him as a happy-go-lucky and charitable person. His positive and sense of humor is what draws his peers close to him.

"If you dropped me in the jungle, I would come out alive and with a few new friends," Smith said.

Julian Smith is proud to be able to take a customer's idea, put it on paper coupled with the building codes and watch it become a reality for them. In the near future, he will be making several changes to his business, including a refund policy to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
