    Floods Continue in FL

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     sisterdoyle told me, 'I shot this while attempting to leave my house today, curious to see how our beaches are faring the storms. Last night brought bolts of lightning and winds like nothing I've seen in my 13 years of living in Santa Rosa Beach. The mass of tourists from what we call our "spring season" can't reach the highways or interstate to voyage home, while locals can't go to work due to road and/or business closures. The flooding has completely damaged the main stretch in our small town, Scenic Highway 30-A. Power is out everywhere and cell service is sketchy. With locals and visitors alike being stranded in or from their homes, there's a healthy mix of tension, curiosity, and fear amongst our little beach town.'

This photo gives an understated view of the current flooding in the Panhandle of Florida. Picture is the roadblock, trapping residents and visitors from reaching our (usually) beautiful and essential main-stretch, Scenic Highway 30-A.
