    Question for Steve Swanson

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     cycloneous told me, 'I guess you could call me an amateur astronomer. I probably have been interested in space since 1984 or '85.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

    Text of question:

Hi Steve Swanson, this is Cycloneous. Space exploration is very critical and important for mankind; it may be our second home one day.

My question is this, how critical do you think it is for mankind to step foot and colonize Mars?

    Thank you!
