    ONE FC Back with a BANG!

     

    The entertainment spectacular in the Asia Pacific Region ONE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP is back with a bang last May 2, 2014 at the Mall of Asia Arena here in Manila Philippines. RISE OF HEROES is the theme of the event featuring star studded fighters across ASIA Pacific.


    Rise of heroes has ten fight cards under the arena featuring the debut of a champion boxer, an unfinished business between 2 powerhouse fighters, a warrior’s destiny and a champion ready to defend the title at all costs.

     

    The night started with 2 undercards and but these undercards brought and built excitement into the arena going to the main event.


    First fight of the night is Jeet Toshi (India) against Jujeath Nagaowa (Philippines), Match prolonged to 3 rounds but Jujeath Nagaowa wins it.
    Second fight is Eugene Toquero (Philippines) against Gianni Subba (Malaysia), Gianni is a rising MMA fighter in Asia with three victories in ONEFC with 100% finishing rate unfortunately Eugene Toquero won the fight in points.


    At last the debut of the HURRICANE in One Fighting Championship Ana Julaton (Philippines) taking up Aya Saeid Saber (Egypt), this is one exciting battle in each round specially when Ana survives the first 2 rounds and finishes Aya gracefully at third round with a TKO.


    Next fight is Leandro Ataides (Brazil) against Tatsuya Mizuno (Japan), and what do you know still undefeated Leandro hammered Tatsuya and the match ended at round 1 by TKO.


    Next up is the only heavyweight for the evening James Mcsweeney (Britain) up against Chris Lokteff (Australian), James who is a Muay Thai and kickboxing champion emerges victor via TKO over Chris.


    The anticipated rematch 2 years in the making Rob Lisita (Australian) versus Yusuke Kawanago (Japan), Rob only lost enable him to train hard and stayed focused on his goal and true enough Rob brings down Yusuke.


    Up next is a well even match for a flyweight division Joshua Alvarez (American) and Rey Docyogen (Philippines), 3 rounds of hard stopping take downs but Rey endured a bloody match and emerge as the winner giving team lakay a momentum for the next anticipated fight.


    Co main event of the evening Kotetsu Boku (Japan) and Eduardo “Landslide” Folayang (Philippines), The entire 3 rounds of this match is exciting and with the momentum built up for landslide crowd is chanting “landslide” all 3 rounds, from take downs after take downs the LANDSLIDE proved he is destined for shot of a title fight.


    Main Event comes between the Defending ONE FC Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes (Brazil) and Masakatsu Ueda (Japan), Match started slow going to the second round excitement is building up and time is running out with all 5 rounds spent, Bibiano defended his world title at all cost. Winner by decision still the reigning defending world bantamweight champion of ONE FC Bibiano Fernandes.
