Thirteenth Day of Hope for Sewol Miracles

Fourteen Korean Americans in Los Angeles gathered around Consulate General of Republic of Korea Friday afternoon. Some of them have been hoping for miracles for fourteen day by keeping the Hope Shrine on the front wall of the Korean diplomatic building.  It's been 17 days since the sinking of ferry Sewol. Hope is fading hour by hour. 73 still missing and no survivors since the initial rescue effort.

Around 7:30 pm, the group start a meeting with an silent prayer. What can we do to express our sorrow and anger?  How should we conduct the public gathering tomorrow?  What will we talk about and write on our pickets and placards. These are some of the questions raised at the meeting that lasted 15 minutes. Then the group start working on the signs and pickets.
