Andrew Barer is a coach, tutor and mentor with over 25 years of experience. Andrew is an accomplished educator, public speaker, executive and entrepreneur. Andrew J. Barer graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, completing his master’s degree in Psychology with a 4.0 GPA and being a member of the honor society. At the World Coaching Institute, he completed professional coaching certification programs as a certified youth and family coach (CYFC), certified executive coach (CEC) and a certified master coach (CMC). Andrew graduated from Wesleyan University, with a double major in Psychology and History with a concentration in race relations.
Andrew Barer is a strong supporter of raising awareness for the warning signs of cardiac arrest and has done work at several organizations in this regard. He has been involved and active in volunteer and charity work in several Connecticut community towns of Easton, Stamford, and New Canaan. He is actively involved in the Common Ground Foundation. As a founder and director - he helps young people on isolated Native American Reservations gain the educational and social benefits of internet access. He also serves as a senior advisor for the Mycelium School. Mycelium is an international program which endeavors to endow the next generation of leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to address the root causes of environmental and social concerns. Andrew Barer has been an Outback youth programs director in New Canaan, CT. Andrew is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Easton Learning Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing educational excellence for students in the Easton Public Schools.
