A Festivity of Thanksgiving in the Philippines

The Municipality of Bayog of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur in the Philippines celebrates its 47th Founding Anniversary with “PaladPalad” Festival from May 3-8, 2014.

This year’s celebration is more colourful where street dancers performed along the streets of the municipality this morning, May 3 that signalled the start of the said festival.

Palad-Palad is a Subanen tribe term which means "thanksgiving." It is a celebration of joy, peace and unity and thanksgiving for great and bountiful harvest, progress and developments and people's achievement.
