OIL covering FLOOR of SARASOTA BAY

After the storm today, I went by my dock in the canal off the Sarasota Bay to try to retrieve coconut debris. I used my pool skimmer with a long handle. I saw there was part of a palm tree submerged and I tried to lift it. THERE was a large amount of petroleum smelling OIL SLICK that surfaced. I then aimed the net of the skimmer down about 4 feet to touch the floor of the canal. The entire floor released OIL SLICK to the surface when stirred. There is no mistaking to the odor of petroleum and the blue orange shimmer of oil slick. i tweeted messages to every governmental agency I could think of, with zero response. I also sent messages, via Facebook to VernBuchanan and CharlesRangel.
