Houston, TX – A festive Polish celebration brought colorful cheer in Houston, Texas at the 8th Annual Polish Festival, held on the grounds of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. Traditional Polish food, song and dance filled the air as crowds kicked off the festival for Saturday May 3rd and 4th. Noted as the largest Polish festival in Texas, visitors were also able to visit the church built in the traditional Polish style. A 600 year old history of the famous Icon of Poland, Our Lady of Czestochowa, known as the Black Madonna, can be seen inside and how the icon is known for its protection and defending of the Polish Nation.
