    Sewol Ferry Rally & Vigil

On Saturday, May 3rd, 2014, in downtown Seoul, South Korea an afternoon rally took place, which included friends and family members of those lost at sea aboard the Sewol Ferry off the Korean coast. Individuals one by one, went on stage to voice their sorrows as well as a plea and questions to the South Korean president on why more wasn't done to protect them.
Banners which read "Sorry" in Korean can be seen all over the city alongside the yellow ribbon the symbol that has been used to remember those who were lost.
As the afternoon changed to evening, the crowd that gathered at the head of a stream (CheonggyeCheon) continued to grow and a candlelight vigil was held in remembrance.
